EyeRead

Eyeread is a learning company that has developed a platform to deliver research-based and adaptive learning content to players through games for learning. My work during this internship focused predominately on the learning platform as well as one of their games geared for grades 3-8 (Dreamscape).

Overview

Upon presenting my simulated product manager interview to the CEO, I was offered the opportunity to conduct product strategy research for their upcoming project. This internship entails implementing lean UX research practices within the company's processes, enhancing the product's learning and user experience, and identifying a monetization path.

Marketplace Presentation

At first, our project aimed to investigate the possibility of creating a user-generated marketplace. However, we shifted our focus after conducting interviews with teachers and other relevant individuals. Our new focus centered on understanding what teachers seek when searching for high-quality content and how they evaluate its value. To achieve this, we also examined how competitors incorporate premium content into their offerings. Attached below is the slide deck that we presented at the conclusion of our 8-week internship. The project was led by me, with contributions from Taniya Sharma and Xueyi Xu.
